and What are good/cheap wholesale websites to use for Wedding decorations?  Hey everyone. My name is Mersades. I got engaged about a year ago and just recently started planning my wedding. Everything has been going very well but I’m having issues finding good wholesale sites for decorations and such. I search on google and come up with sites that are much too expensive, or not very good quality. I’m having a low budget wedding. The ceremony and reception will be in the same area, the ballroom at the Crowne Plaza in my area, so I don’t need separate decorations for the ceremony and reception.
If you could help me, I’d greatly appreciate it. Also, I live in Pittsfield, MA so if you know of any good vendors to use, that would be helpful too. Thank you!

and Giving my fiance the ring back!!?  My fiance and i broke up 2 days ago and i haven’t been back at our house since as i am staying with my brother & his friend. My ex fiance is a firefighter so he works long hours but i want to give him back the ring face to face but i don’t know what to say to him. I love him so much but we have been fighting so much lately even though he hates fighting with me. He was getting frustrated as i hadn’t done any wedding planning as yet but when he were fighting i tried to tell him that i had chosen a wedding song that we both loved, but never got to tell him as he ended it.I am so hard to love i keep so much of me guarded and i know i have pushed him away, when he broke up with me in the heat of an argument i felt destroyed. Everything he has ever done for me is amazing even when i lost our baby 6 years ago, he thinks nothing is ever good enough for me. He has tried to call me but i haven’t answered him as it is so painful to even think of him. He is the man of my dreams and i have ruined it. My brother works with him & he told me he keeps asking about me & looks so broken. Maybe a break would be good for us? I have a lot of guy friends, some of which I know even before I met my fiance. and Questions about wedding etiquette.?  First question is about my fiance’s best man. He thinks that my fiance is supposed to pay for his suit. We’re planning a wedding, and bridal party clothing is not in our budget. Second question: We are getting married in a hotel on Mackinac Island. The hotel wedding coordinator is not efficient on returning my emails or calling me back. Do I need a confirmation email/letter to confirm the date, or should I just begin making invitations/save the dates? Thanks for any clarification!
I just want to add that the groom does not need to buy a specific suit. He need a dark suit, a white shirt, and a purple tie (which I told him I’d buy). The bridesmaids dresses were $10 at Macy’s and the bridesmaids were happy to buy them. The groomsmen can wear any black dress shoes, and the bridesmaids can wear any silver shoes–heels or not.
I really don’t think I’m asking alot here. We’re only having 20 guests at our wedding, and I just want everything to look nice. Thanks for your answers!, more

I’m getting married in a few weeks time, we are not having a very traditional wedding, but we have ordered buttonholes for the men in the wedding party only… we decided not to bother with corsages and aren’t even having fresh flowers on the tables…. (this is because of a lack of money and the fact we want something a bit different from tradition)
…. Now the Mother of the groom has insisted that we arrange for a corsage for her, in doing this we would need to get my mum one and others…. costing more money than we can afford and it’s no what we wanted.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the right thing to do is, I don’t want to go against mother of groom but at the same time it’s our wedding….
Do you have to have corsages if you are having buttonholes? what is the rule?

ok one of my friends is getting married this saturday, and i have been invited. it’s already quite awkward, since i tried to date this young lady for about a year, up to the time she got engaged (about one year ago). ironically she had about 4 boyfriends in that year i tried to date her – none of them were her now-fiancee.
when i met her about a year and a half ago she was goth-leaning and wiccan, and now since she got engaged she’s a born-again baptist and is marrying a redneck who works at a car garage.
there is one kid in the picture – he already had a daughter from a previous relationship. i think shes around 5 but i dont know.
ok what do i get them as a wedding gift?! oh and they don’t need basic functional stuff because they have lived together since last year.
