Regarding your Kay Jewelers card, you can just use the $500 as a down payment against your purchase and finance the remaining $300. Customers do this all of the time. This also qualifies you to finance the remaining $300 at no finance charge, since your purchase amount before DP was >$500.

If you prefer, you may make a $500 payment to create a credit balance, and an $800 open to buy amount. Just use it quickly, or a check will be issued to you in the amount of the credit.
